Environmental Facilities

Carnegie entered into the development of Environmental facilities in 1989, partnering with several national auto-emissions testing companies. In Arizona there are 14 sites with a total of 150,000 SF leased in the Phoenix/ Tucson area. In Broward County, Florida there are six sites with a total of 70,000 SF.

In Carnegie's home state, they completed 13 facilities in the four southern Ohio Counties that surround the Greater Cincinnati area. This project, which won the 1996 "Award for Excellence" from the Ohio Building Industry Associates for design and use of masonry, served as a prototype for future projects in urban markets that require emission testing. These larger Enhanced AIM Facilities conduct IM240 testing, and are known as E-Check; they total approximately 150,000 SF.

Government Facilities

With more than 20 years of experience developing office buildings, Carnegie recently created a division within the company called "Fedcar" that focuses on the procurement and development of Government Office Buildings. The company has been awarded several United States General Services Administration (GSA) "source selection" projects, as well as direct bid projects for Federal Agencies including the Federal Bureau of Investigation; Internal Revenue Service; United States Attorney General's Offices; and Social Security Administration facilities. Due to our desire to respect the need for confidentiality with regard to these Federal Agencies, no further building detail or specifics are being provided.

Waterfront / Entertainment Facilities
Carnegie was a leader in the downtown Cleveland renaissance, acquiring several waterfront properties on the East and West Bank, in Cleveland's premier entertainment district - The Flats. Carnegie's commitment and vision was instrumental in creating this nationally known entertainment area.

Fagan's in the Flats, our initial holding which is located on the East Bank of the River, is the largest entertainment complex on the East Bank insuring its status as the "Flagship of the Flats". Along with Rumrunners and the Pointe Building, these properties are strategically positioned on the East Bank for easy access to Cleveland Stadium, Gund Arena and Jacobs Field.
