BUSY BEAVER HOME IMPROVEMENT CENTER JOINS CARNEGIE PORTFOLIO IN CANTON

A former Sears Paint & Hardware store in Canton will be the site of the newest Busy Beaver Home Improvement Center. Carnegie Management and Development Corporation announced that the Pittsburgh-based chain has leased Carnegie’s location at 843 30th Street N.W. on Canton’s north side and will be opening for business later in 2019. Busy Beaver, which also operates within the True Value Hardware co-op, will be relocating its existing Canton store to this 22,000 square foot location. Remodeling and renovations are currently under way. Founded in 1962, Busy Beaver operates 21 full-line home center stores with a primary focus on the retail, do-it-yourself customer. Its commitment to “legendary customer service” and its ability to rapidly adapt to changing consumer needs allow Busy Beaver to successfully compete with bigger competitors such as Home Depot and Lowes.
